Our client is a world leading owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation/service rigs, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to be based in the Aberdeen office on a staff basis.

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the overall control and management of projects including quality, cost and schedule.

Candidates will be Degree qualified in Mechanical/Electrical/Naval Architecture or equivalent with relevant Project management skills.
Possess technical expertise or relevant Industry/professional management Qualifications.
Have experience in Engineering, Offshore Oil & Gas, or Ship Construction/Ship Repair Industries at a senior management level.
Be conversant with the full range of Microsoft Office suite of programs including database applications and project planning software.
Have relevant current Basic Safety Induction and Emergency Training and Certificate of Medical Fitness (UKOOA & Norway or equivalent)

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for developing and execution of CAPEX projects relating to the company Fleet of vessels.
They will take the lead in planning, co-ordination and development of technical projects to ensure that all CAPEX, major overhaul and other projects are detailed and costed.
Reporting to Director of Engineering, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and closing out projects in accordance with approved plans and budgets.
The Senior Project Manager will take a lead role in developing and establishing project control measures including risk management and mitigating/corrective action.
