phone number removed> ;>It is the general responsibility of the Senior Project Manager SPM to deliver all aspects of the project facilities to Production Operation Angola complete in accordance with the approved quality and design specifications within the overall project schedule and to budget.

phone number removed> ;>It is envisaged that reporting to the Senior Project Manager will be Project Manager FPSO Project Manager Subsea and Installation Head of Engineering Interface Manager and Quality Manager.

phone number removed> ;>In performing his duties the SPM will liaise closely with the Head of Project Development the Project Drilling group Production Operations the Subsurface team and HSSE personnel.

phone number removed> ;>The SPM shall ensure that all activities are executed fully in accordance with the approved project Field Development Plan and Clients corporate requirements in respect of amongst other quality HSE and process integrity.

1. Key responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will Head the Project team and be responsible for the implementation of the approved FDP through to handover of facilities to Productions Operations Angola.

· Initially work with the Project Manager for the Field Development Planning Phase FDP and the Production Operations team assisting in the final concept selection and specification. During this stage of the project be responsible for making all necessary preparations for contract awards including development of functional and quality specifications contractor prequalification tender document and complete the tender process through to recommendation stage.

· Establish the appropriate organisation and reporting system to execute and control the implementation of the project.

· Upon project sanction finalise contract awards for the facilities and in conjunction with project teams for the various parts take full responsibility through to handover to Production Operations Angola.

· Coordinate as necessary with all support personnel including Legal Insurance HSSE etc

· Develop and implement a project reporting system which includes Daily Reports from site teams Weekly Reports for management purposes and other reporting as required depending on the nature and international distribution of contracts. Reporting structure shall concentrate on all areas of concern in particular contractual risks schedule constraints costs and any technical issues requiring external attention.

· Maintain close interaction with the Client selected Verification Agency and Warranty Surveyor responsible for the provision of Certificate of Acceptance of the facilities and marine activities.

· Attend each site regularly e.g. on a monthly basis for the purpose of progress review and contractor performance assessment.

· Facilitate corporate peer reviews and audits in accordance with the Client Project Maturation Process.

· Ensure adequate and appropriate performance and management of HSSE and quality with strict adherence to all relevant legislation and Client corporate procedures and standards.

· Ensure that all significant issues in particular risks contractual and technical issues are brought to the attention of management.

· Collaborate closely with the Drilling and Production Operations teams to ensure smooth interfacing and caretaking of joining issues.

· Manage the hand over of all facilities to Production Operations fully certified and ready for introduction of hydrocarbons.

· Facilitate effective interaction with Client corporate and technical functions

· Establish and maintain via Head of Project Development and Client Angola close liaison with the Angolan authorities and partners.

2. Position specifications

Required Education:

· Technical Degree at MSc. level or higher is preferred.

· Technical Degree at BSc. level as a minimum

Required Experience:

· 15 years experience in EPC project management with at least one project involving a FPSO or similar installation and preferably with deep water experience.

· Can demonstrate strong leadership capabilities in a project environment where schedule constraints are of primary concern.

· Strong commercial experience particularly with fixed lump sum contracts.

· Readiness to establish clear understanding of Clients business codes including value drivers

· High levels of creativity persistence curiosity and enthusiasm

· Proficient in both written and spoken English
