Our client is a mid sized engineering company in the asset maintenance sector. They would like to recruit an intermediate level individual to join a rapidly expanding Project Controls team.
Duties will include:
- Provide commercial support to the business on commercial issues
- Working in conjunction with project teams in minimising the company's exposure to risk.
- Identify and highlight where the business is exposed to risk
- Providing support in tendering and bid processes.
- Building relationships with relevant departments to raise commercial awareness.
- Review current contractual agreements.
- Initiate invoicing in line with commercial and contractual arrangements.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Participate in the review of existing departmental procedure
- Delivery of new proposals. Skills
To be suitable for the role you could have:
- A strong experience working for a service organisation in either a Project Controls or a Cost Engineering role
- Working in a construction related discipline either as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Management role
- Working in a Petro-Chem/Nuclear or Power Engineering related role in a Project Controls or Surveying related role.
- Other relevant job titles include Cost Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Project Controls Team Lead, Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Managing Surveyor, Associate, Project Controller, Cost Controller. Benefits
