Senior Procurement Advisor
Our client is an international Oil and Gas operator with offices based in Alberta, Canada. We are looking to identify a Senior Procurement Advisor for their growing team. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Senior Procurement Advisor is responsible for all aspects of procurement activities to support field operations in Western Canada. The candidate will come from an Oil and Gas background (preferably an E&P) where they have shown significant successes in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
* Involvement in strategic planning and reviews for Western Canada Ops
* Contracting activities including major negotiations
* Selection of major suppliers and contractors; manage bidding process and post award administration
* Build key relationships with suppliers/contractors as well as internal stakeholders
Requirements
* Minimum College Diploma in SCM
* Relevant experience with E&P company in upstream environment
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* PMAC Certification
* Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada with no restrictions
