Senior Process Engineer
A world-class front end engineering consultancy is looking to identify a Senior Process Engineer on a staff or contract basis.

As a senior member of the core business function, Senior Process Engineers communicate effectively with the other engineers, Project Leads, management and client representatives to ensure the company's reputation for high quality products and services is maintained.
Responsibilities :
* The delivery of process engineering design in accordance with the relevant industry codes and standards whilst meeting best engineering practice
* The provision of high quality professional services tailored to meet the needs of our clients
* Ensuring all calculations and design work is prepared in accordance with the Quality Management System
Qualifications / Skills Required:
* The successful candidate will have a Degree in Chemical Engineering and Professional membership with APEGGA
* You will have extensive oil and gas, heavy oil / SAGD or upgrading / refinery experience with some of this in a multi-discipline design environment
* Knowledge and experience of heavy oil developments, in-situ thermal recovery of bitumen from oilsands, produced water treatment, water softening, steam generation and cogeneration will be an added advantage
* Must have sound skills in Process applications and hands on experience in using special purpose software, including HYSYS and other industry standard process simulation software
* Experience in feasibility, concept selection and front end engineering studies
* The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be computer literate.
* Project engineering skills to ensure studies and projects are delivered within agreed budgets and schedules
* Knowledge of various codes and standards such as API 520 / 521, ASME / ANSI as appropriate
