Our client is a Global Oil & Gas EPC Contractor based in Teeside looking for Process and Senior Process Engineer.

Job Profile
A Senior Process Engineer will normally be a reasonably experienced engineer and may have specific specialisms within his/her own discipline.Process engineering is the fundamental discipline upon which process plant design is based.

Process Engineers therefore provide the basic design information which enables other disciplines to proceed with project and proposal work. Process engineering work can therefore have a significant impact on project costs and programme.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Vacancies at all levels: Engineer Senior Engineer Principal Engineer

General skills/experience as below increasing in depth and breadth the more senior the level.
To carry out specific design tasks delegated to him by the project Process Engineer or Chief Process Engineer as appropriate.
To be responsible for checking of design work in accordance with Company Procedures and approval of design work when authority has been delegated by the Chief Process Engineer.
To carry out design tasks on proposals delegated to him by the proposal Process Engineer or the Chief Process Engineer.
To liaise with other disciplines as required.
To provide support to Sales Department and Construction/Commissioning Departments as required.
Experience in process design and a track record of working with the major chemical engineering contractors.
Candidates should have ability to supervise less experienced engineers.
Design work generally covers but is not limited to design calculations process description and specification flow sheets heat and materials balances performance guarantees raw materials specifications and consumptions plant layout criteria and constraints effluent specifications and quantities equipment lists data sheets for relief valves and safety equipment.

Person Specification

Only candidates with a degree in Chemical Engineering will be considered
candidates must also have a minimum of 5years experience in Process Design in the hydrocarbon processing sectors.
