Our Client has a vacancy for a Senior Planning Engineer based in Aberdeen.  This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:
Preparation and maintenance of engineering procurement construction and HU&C plans as fully constrained and resourced critical path networks including the scheduling of work within agreed priorities resource levels and targets.
Liaise with project/discipline lead engineers regarding onshore/offshore progress reporting.
Production of weekly and monthly planning/progress reports.
Measure and report against key performance indicators KPIs both internal and external.
Ensure compliance with the work breakdown structure and coding.
Attend weekly/monthly review meetings with project team/client to discuss long medium and short term plans and progress.
Information transfer between relevant business software and the planning software.
Develop ad-hoc plans as required.

Qualifications and experience required:
Educated to ONC/HNC level or equivalent in an engineering discipline preferred.
Candidate must be fully conversant and familiar with P3/P6.
Ability to gather information to develop plans through personal and individual communication.
Knowledge of engineering procurement construction and HU&C.
