Responsibilities:

· Inventory management of equipment

· Datacenter monitoring

· Maintains backups and other business continuity elements

· Manages to current Service Level Agreements as required.

· Monitors and responds to hardware and firmware failures.

· Maintains maximum uptime for production systems.

· Use service management software for troubleshooting remediating and / or escalating system issues appropriately to the appropriate Core Tech team.

· Monitors troubleshoots administers & reports status on all infrastructure capacity utilization metrics.

· Monitors and reports on infrastructure capacity utilization and performance metrics.

· Follow change management procedure

· Help with creating standards policies and procedures.

· Use service management software to log and maintain all issues

· Manages local projects to completion and reports on their progress

· Maintains security policy

· Participates in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures

· Assume responsibility for certain global systems or projects as per skill set and requirements

· Manage a small team provide technical leadership ensure knowledge transfer and skill growth for junior members of the team.

· Manage support team and ensure that all issues are resolved according to predefined SLAs

Requirements and experience:

· Bachelor degree in computer related field

· MCSE

· Windows Server 2008

· Active Directory

· Exchange 2007 server

· SCOM

· ITIL

· Knowledge of leading practices such as ITIL CoBIT CMMI.

· Commitment to excellence in customer service and the ability to work in a team environment.

· Ability to work effectively and independently in an atmosphere of multiple projects shifting priorities and deadline pressures.

· Must be able to work outside normal business hours in order to perform diagnosis and/or implementation of product releases or changes so that normal workflow is not interrupted.

· Ability to achieve goals with minimal supervision.
