Role Information
To provide technical support and supervise Site Engineering activity performed by various engineering contractor relating to all aspects of Metallurgy and Welding with in the Eskene onshore surface facilities and pipeline network.
Main Responsibilities:
Providing support to the Engineering contractor(s), in implementing, through their execution, the metallurgy (with requirements related to Sour Services and Low temperature Requirements) and welding requirement for the surface facilities and the pipeline network verifying that appropriate and consistent procedures, qualifications and material selection are applied by execution contractors.
Liaising with the material engineers of the construction contractor to ensure a common approach in material and Welding requirements.
Managing and supporting approval of site design changes originated by construction/installation reasons.
Essential skills and qualifications:
A degree in Material Science and Welding Technology
Minimum 10 years experience in Metallurgy and Welding Technology in Oil and Gas industry
Good Experience in Integrity Management and Engineering Criticality Assessment (ECA0
Experience in material selection in detail design activity
