Senior Internal Auditor job in Kazakhstan
Orion Group are looking to recruit an Senior Internal Auditor based in Kazakhstan.
As Senior Internal Auditor you will be required to assist the Internal Audit Manager exercise his responsibilities towards assisting all levels of Management with ensuring they maintain an adequate and effective set of internal processes, procedures, controls and working practices through the provision of independent analyses, appraisals, recommendations & advice concerning activities subjected to review. The position is also responsibile for the "following-up" of audits perormed.
Your main responsibilites will include:
- Responsible for leading and participating in perorming contract administration and process audits
- Preparation of undertaking audits, issuing agreed TOR with the Contract Holders/Process Owners and handling all aspects of the Opening Meeting presentations
- Identifying and/or overseeing the identification of findings, evaluation of findings and agreeing the corrective actions and suitable recommendations with auditees
- Preparation of Draft Audit Report including objective audit findings and recommendations
- Collection and review of the auditees responses to the findings/recommendations
- Incorporation of the responses in the final Audit Report
- Assisting the auditees with addressing findings/recommendations
- Liaison with the Internal Audit anager when addressing any other issues
- Oranisation of the follow up of the Audit Report by assessing the adequacy of the measures implemented in respect to recommendations made
Qualifications and experience required:
- Degree or equivalent from a recognised university in an appropriate Business or Engineering discipline, preferably including Financial Accounting
- Considerable working experience including external and/or internal audits and internal control processes and systems
- Preferably previous working experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience in maintenance of database
- Understanding of Business Process development and implementation
- Understanding Project Drivers, Criticall Success Factors and the use of KPI's to measure the Project's internal Assurance's performance
- Capacity to convince and strong negotiationg skills when required
- Very good standard of spoken and written English
- Very good listening skills
- Very good communication and inter-personal skills
- Capacity to deal with and relate to all levels of staff
- Strong data interpretation skills
- Capacity to manage and handle confidential data appropriately
This is a contract position.
The rate for this position is negotiable.
