My client is a sucessful operator with assets in Africa and the Middle East. They are currently looking for an experience Exploration Geologist to join their team.

Experience:
At least 15 years experience in clastic and/or carbonate reservoir geology (drilling operations, 3D static sedimentology and diagenetic modelling, and/or fractures and faults modelling), with involvement in exploration, appraisal and field development activities with an Operating oil company.
Understanding of fluid properties and dynamics, risk and uncertainty analysis and volumetric estimates.
Fully conversant in the use of G&G databases, geological interpretation PC-based software (e.g. Petrel Geographix). Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Operational experience in West Africa and/or Middle-East with an Operating oil company.
Operational experience as a wellsite geologist with an Operating oil company.
Advanced skills in 3D seismic and petrophysical interpretation
Strong skills in the use of 3D geological modelling, basin modelling and structural restoration software (e.g. Petrel, Basinmod & 2D,3DMove).
