Job Description
Dedicated environmental team based in Brisbane within an international engineering consultancy, have experienced recent growth and hence require a highly experienced Fauna Ecologist.
The projects are across a range of sectors including infrastructure, highways and rail construction projects, oil & gas and mining. You will be part of an expert consulting team that will provide environmental services to clients.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant professional standards across the industry, including Australian Commonwealth and preferably QLD legislative framework and policy context.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Investigative projects into flora and fauna surveys
- Environmental Impact Assessments
- Development and monitoring programmes for exotic and native species
- Provide policy and industry guidelines through to the design and implementation of scientific, management and monitoring programs for clients across a variety of sectors
- Project Management including managing budgets for the projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- An honours degree in an environmental subject
- 15 years experience in a relevant field
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant professional standards across the industry, including Australian Commonwealth and preferably QLD legislative framework and policy context.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team and mentor
