Role: Senior Electricall Engineer Location: New Caledonia South Pacific Duration: 2-5 years Salary: Negotiable Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects. They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company They are seeking candidates whom must be willing to relocate to the site in New Caledonia. And applicants MUST be bi-lingual in French and English The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee the asset planning and Maintenance of the turbogenerator and electrical systems for a 400MW power station consisting of two coal fired units with circulating fluidised bed boilers and steam turbines and three gas turbine units. Candidates must be accustomed to working in remote locations with the necessary cultural sensitivity and language skills to build a core crew of local French speaking power plant maintainers. A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering is essential for this position Applicants should have extensive experience in maintenance of power plant mechanical systems. Experience in coal fired facilities is essential with particular experience in circulating fluidised bed boilers highly desired.
