Our Client has a vacancy for a Senior Design Draughtsperson, based in Aberdeen.  This is a permanent position.

Your responsibilities will include the following: 
Production of general arrangement, detail, procedural and system schematic drawings using various CAD systems.
Preparation of bills of materials and purchase requisitions.
Assistance with drawing office clerical functions and be proactive in the development of drawing office system improvement initiatives.
Checking of drawings and data.
Carrying out site and offshore dimensional surveys and preparing detailed survey reports.
Preparation of basic calculations for weld/bolt/member selection using design computer systems and by hand calculation.
Candidates must work within project financial limitations as dictated by the Technical Services Manager/Design Engineer.
Assist in the preparation of drafting estimates.
Liaison with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and contract support staff as required.
Assistance with the identification of resource shortfalls/requirements and provision of guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Assist with the recruitment and training of drawing office staff.

The salary for this role is negotiable.
