This Senior Cost Engineering opportunity is all about career development and exposure to Australias world scale LNG developments. You will work from Perth for the oil & gas operator directly; they see the development of their project controls capability as critical to ensure their projects are delivered on time and to budget. You will work as a cost engineer on major LNG and Oil & Gas projects ensuring project budgets are set and trends and expenditures reported. You will analyse costs and spot opportunities for savings and recommend corrective actions for potential cost over runs. This is a role where your technical understanding will allow you to accurately forecast and advise the project management teams of all opportunities and threats with regards to cost on the project.

Your ideal experience will include:

· Earned value reporting VoWD VoWIP

· Strong understanding of scope to provide meaningful input into forecasting

· Liaise with and report to project management team

· Solid experience working on multi disciplinary projects preferably oil & gas

· You will work closely with the project controls group lead to ensure the over all capability quality and direction of the group is maintained.

You will have strong oil & gas / LNG or similar project delivery experience and worked from the operator side or for an EPCM. 8 - 12 year plus experience level is ideal.
