Job Description
Our client is a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry with a focus on deepwater applications. Through the use of its applied technology expertise they also serve the defense and aerospace industries. Our clients business offerings include remotely operated vehicles built-to-order specialty subsea hardware deepwater intervention and manned diving services non-destructive testing and inspections mobile offshore production systems and engineering and project management.
- Ensure Regulatory and Client standard compliance.
- Support Delivery Team Leader DTL in appropriate aspects of management of company contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management including input in the development of the annual budget.
- Support DTL in production of company Monthly Performance Management Report Dashboard.
- Design manage and implement corrosion management control strategyies.
- Deliver annual and periodic reports corrosion status of systems identification and assessment of significant trends from surveys.
- Input to the production and ongoing management of the Installation Annual Inspection Plans and Integrated Field Planning IFP compliance for corrosion monitoring activities.
- Discipline lead for corrosion including recommendations from inspection anomalies and failures.
- Provide support to Verification activities related to applicable Performance Standards.
- Assist with the implementation of an Integrity Risk Management Process aligned to the SPU Risk Management Process.
- Assist with corrosion / integrity input to platform Turnaround TAR Programmes. Responsible for compliance with relevant Site Technical Practices STPs and Safety Management System SMS documents.
- Input to the IQ/RO process for corrosion and materials issues.
- Maintain appropriate level of contact with Asset Teams 3rd Parties and internal disciplines to ensure an effective Inspection Corrosion Management ICM service.
- Ensure the effective application of innovative inspection and corrosion engineering applications and specialist technologies.
- Assist the DTL to achieve Key Performance Indicator KPI deliverables and overall management of the service.
- Provide authoritative technical assessment and interpretation of corrosion /inspection monitoring data using ACET® or other databases as apt. Ensure effective data management within ACET®.
- Provide corrosion expertise to and effectively interact with multi disciplinary RBI or other process groups. Recommend changes in corrosion criticality analyses and monitoring/inspection programmes where appropriate.
- Produce pipework inspection workscopes and workpacks as directed by the Inspection Engineers.
- Undertake or co-ordinate failure investigations into material and corrosion issues in accordance with prescribed or approved failure investigation procedures.
- Participate in and provide input to the regular review of corrosion management information such as Corrosion and Chemical Control Matrices and KPIs.
- Prepare manage and chair the regular corrosion and integrity tactical review team meetings and coordinate actions arising.
- Provide technical leadership and authority in designated corrosion engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer / Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline /HNC Level
- Engineering experience of pressure systems and corrosion
