Job Title: Contracts Engineer Various Locations: Qatar Syria Egypt Libya Sudan Yemen Benefits: Basic Salary Housing & Transportation Allowance Furniture Allowance End of Service Benefit Life Insurance Medical Insurance Yearly Bonus Annual Paid Leave Car Loan Duration: Permanent Industry: Construction Our major international client within the Project and Construction Managment industry requires Contracts Engineers within the Middle East/Africa. Our client provides expertise in Project Management Design Management Construction Management and Contract Administration together with other associated Project Management functions. Basic Function and Scope: Support the Procurement Engineer in package and bids preparation. Coordinate all contractual activities including contract drafting vendor meetings contracts negotiations and finalizations on behalf of the client. Review contract documents for accuracy and appropriateness. Coordinate with Procurement Engineer to finalize contract terms with consultants contractors and other parties. Clarify client doubts and advise clients on finalization of contract terms and conditions. Coordinate warranties performance bonds and insurance and ensure that they are in place in accordance with the main contract and any subcontract conditions. Advise on alternative and most suitable procurement strategies Essential skills and qualifications: BSc in Engineering Quantity Surveying or equivalent Extensive experience in the construction industry Membership of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators preferred To support your CV application please confirm your preferred locations as detailed above total years industry experience and availability.
