Brunel operates through its own network of 33 offices globally offering a true international network as well as local knowledge and support. Brunel Energy is currently sourcing for a Senior Contracts Engineer for our client, a worldwide oil and gas exploration and production company. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a multibillion dollar LNG Project. Working as part of the Contracts Services team, key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Implement Contracting Strategies for major Contracting activities
  • Undertake development, compilation, sourcing, pre-tenders, Invitations to Tender, tender openings, and evaluations of proposals received including all requests for qualifications for major contracts
  • Providing contract/procurement advice to team and managers
  • Ensure Contractor deliverables to ITT/Contract documents are delivered in a timely matter
  • Ensure Contract Variations are identified early and advised to Contract Representative
  • Ensure Australian Industry Participation objectives are being considered and implemented in all contracting and procurement activities (work closely with Perth Supply Diversity Advisor)
  • Develop and/or analyse ITT & contracts documentation for issues (Scope of Work, Terms and Conditions of Contracts)
The successful applicant in this newly created role will ideally have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Law or equivalent.
  • Extensive contracts and procurement experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Outstanding communication (written & verbal), interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
