You will plan conduct and report petroleum engineering projects ensuring that safe technically competent and cost effective solutions are employed to the satisfaction of clients.

Responsibilities:

· Carry out engineering work within a consultancy team environment including client capability development technology programme management and development of petroleum engineering management and governance systems.

· Support all business development and sales delivery of the consultancy team

· Identify develop and improve relationships with existing and potential clients.

· Assist in developing a detailed understanding of client drivers.

· Assist in progressing and maintaining detailed client/project action plans.

· Assist and work with Principal Consultants to understand the mechanisms of managing the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions in line with the Project Services Agreements.

· Generate other progress/Performance reports as required.

· Carry out petroleum engineering studies and project work in line with the companies Project Delivery Process and Project Service Agreements PSA.

· Lead and project manage projects and/or groups of projects offering solutions mentoring and coaching consultants as well as making own engineering contributions.

· Provide cost effective solutions to production technology challenges by demonstrating the sound use of engineering skills and reporting the results clearly and concisely.

· Carry out work in compliance with company and industry standards.

· Communicate through verbal presentation and written medium the progress and the findings of the study.

· Identify and pursue future work opportunities for sales.

· Carry out work that promotes the use of production technology skills in the oil industry through presentation of work at industry forums.

· Support the Lead Consultant & Principal Consultant in mentoring and coaching programmes.

· Full compliance with all policies standards guidelines and processes and Delegation of Authority approval levels

Essential Skills Experience and Qualifications:

· Excellent academic achievements qualified to BSc Hons or equivalent in science or engineering.

· Demonstrate relevant production technology and operational experience with an operating oil company and/or major service company or consultancy

· Strong analytical approach to solving complex technical problems

· Excellent reporting and presentation skills

· Understanding of working in consultancy environment

· Strong knowledge base of sand management artificial lift design well completion design production optimisation well integrity downhole and subsea field development planning and risk management.
