Job Title: Senior Commissioning Engineer Location: Aberdeen Rate: Neg Duration: Ongoing Company: Our client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over 2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK. Role: To review offshore construction work during the development stages, to identify and develop commissioning workscopes and vendor mobilisations. To develop and implement commissioning strategy. Offshore visits required. Primary interface with client operations. Develop and implement strategy for commissioning on both modifications and projects Production of commissioning dossiers including job cards and commissioning plans in conjunction with development engineers. Facilitates and secure sign-off and acceptance of completed workscopes (including punchlists) by client in a timely manner. Timely expediting of signed off completed as built information to close out group. Site query tracking and progression to ensure compliance with procedures and equipment handover Assure necessary commissioning resources are identified and provided (Domestic, Vendor etc.). Liaise with Design, Construction and Operations Teams to provide commissioning input Liaise with specialist vendors to ensure timely mobilisation, Clarity of scope and client safety requirements/expectations. Provide onshore commissioning support, as the first line contact for the Offshore Construction Teams Skills/Qualifications: HND or equivalent in engineering Current survival and medical required. Offshore engineering industry background with good knowledge and practical experience of the commissioning process.
