Senior Commissioning Engineer - 1003-83 job in UK
Basic Purpose of Job:
Offshore visits required.
Education & Qualifications:
HND or equivalent in engineering
At least ten years in offshore engineering industry with good knowledge and practical experience of the commissioning process.
Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Current survival and medical required.
Experience:
Offshore engineering industry background with good knowledge and practical experience of the commissioning process.
To review offshore construction work during the development stages, to identify and develop commissioning workscopes and vendor mobilisations. To develop and implement commissioning strategy.
Supervisory and Managerial Duties:
Main Duties:
Primary interface with CUE operations.
Develop and implement strategy for commissioning on both modifications and projects
Production of commissioning dossiers including job cards and commissioning plans in conjunction with development engineers.
Facilitates and secure sign-off and acceptance of completed workscopes (including punchlists) by CUE in a timely manner.
Timely expediting of signed off completed as built information to close out group.
Site query tracking and progression to ensure compliance with procedures and equipment handover
Assure necessary commissioning resources are identified and provided (Domestic, Vendor etc.).
Liaise with Design, Construction and Operations Teams to provide commissioning input
Liaise with specialist vendors to ensure timely mobilisation, Clarity of scope and CUE safety requirements / expectations.
Provide onshore commissioning support, as the first line contact for the Offshore Construction Teams
Offshore supervision of key commissioning activities
