CCL (cclglobal.com) has been requested by a major EPC contractor to provide a Senior Civil / Structural Engineer to be based in Kazakhstan on 6/2 rotation. Contract status under a one year (renewable) contract. Excellent rates / T&Cs. Degree / Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent / experience. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and other relevant software including AutoCAD. Fluent written and spoken English. Preferably 3 - 6 years of relevant experience / working in Oil and Gas sector. Duties: supervised by Project Principal Engineer and/or Area / Unit Senior Engineer: develops and checks system design and drawings to conform with project specifications, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. Also review project specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, plot plan and supplier information. Inputs into the development of Project Civil / Structural Engineering CTRs for review with Chief Engineer. Performs manual / computer layouts in accordance with Civil / Structural specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan and supplier information. Communicates and interfaces with other project design and engineering disciplines. Complete and revise manual / computer drawings. Check / correct manual / computer drawings. Review and comment on other departments design drawings and supplier equipment drawings. Update project master drawings. Report document and activity progress.
