Senior CCP/CGF Lead TAR Planner - 64550 job in USA
Our Client has a vacancy for a Senior CCP/CGF Lead TAR Planner. This is a contract position, based in North Slope, Alaska. Candidates for this role must be eligible to work in the USA
Responsibilities:
Perform Turnaround planning, Estimating, and Project Controls for all stages of a Turnaround Event (Appraise, Select, Define, Execute, Operate). Must be able to walk down and understand the work packages (mechanical preferred).  The candidate must understand basic Construction Management practices, and have the ability to utilize the tools that support this process.
Deliverables:
Must be able to define job steps and decompose work package down to an appropriate level.
Develop estimates by work package and cost track as needed.
Resource load work packages with man-power, equipment and materials.
Develop logic sheets to scheduling team for input into Primavera.
Will facilitate meeting that are TAR related.
Develop and maintain the necessry documentation to plan, execute, and close-out a TAR event.
Change-out notes at end of 2x2 rotational tours.
Maintain focus on initiatives and programs to eliminate accidents, injuries and safety & environmental incidents.
Create and sustain a close working relationship with operations, maintenance, engineering, drilling, projects, etc. to ensure future TAR planning services are supportive of Business objectives and delivering value to end users.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
Communicate at all levels within the workforce and to management team.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
Substantial estimating construction background with mechanical emphasis preferred.
Computer literacy required (Word & Excel).
Familiar with the North Slope (GPB, ACT, Kuparuk).
Candidate must be able to climb ladders, and be able to physically handle the industrial nature of a production facility.
Preferred
TAR estimating experience.
Understanding of Project Management principles (PMI) highly desirable.
CVP-TAR process experience.
North Slope background helpful but not required.
Petro/Chemical Background preferred.
Skills/Behaviours
Must have a focus and understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) needs in a construction and Petro/Chemical environment.
Must be able to operate inside a camp environment.
Must be able to interact with individuals from many different parts of the world & ethnic backgrounds.
Cold weather and darkness in the winter is an aspect of the environment that must be considered by candidates.
Willingness and ability to work a 12 hour day shift.
Salary is $750 USD per day.
