Qualified candidates must be well versed in general technical aspects of oil & gas production equipment. Excellent communication / negotiating skills required including fluent written & spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the USA. Procurement professional with significant FPSO / Offshore experience. Duties include: establishing accurate reporting methods in line with project requirements; and preparing quotation request documents in line with technical, commercial, and quality requirements. Also during bid evaluation cycle, coordinate / clarify between parties; conduct / document commercial negotiations; prepare commercial bid (capital and operational) comparisons. Prepare purchase recommendations / issue POs / revisions / follow up order acknowledgement from suppliers / contractors. Organize and coordinate necessary Kick-Off Meetings, Pre-manufacturing Meetings and subsequent inspections. Monitor (possibly execute or manage in case of small projects) purchasing, expediting, inspection & logistics activities & intervene as required. Supplier and Contractor sourcing and pre-qualification. Provide feedback to the Project Development Department as to cost data, equipment / material lead times and respective trends. Provide support to project proposal preparation and estimating activities.
