Job Description:
San Jose Based Manufacturer of optical flame and gas equipment has an opening for the following position: SALES MANAGER OF OPTICAL GAS & FLAME DETECTORS.
Candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Market Penetration
· Introduce new and existing products within the US market
· Plan, prepare, and conduct Beta Tests
· Submit applications and all necessary paperwork to assure ESP Safety is recognized and added to the Approved Vendor Lists
2. Sales
· Generate new business and sales opportunities
· Monitor, manage, and maintain key accounts with end users
· Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation,
and presentations
· Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of ESP
Safety
3. Marketing
· Implement marketing strategy for US market
· Participate in marketing events, such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing
events
4. Training
· Provide on-the-job training to all new sales employees
Qualified candidates MUST meet the following requirements:
· 5 years experience and qualifications in sales of technical products and /or
services required. Oil & Gas vertical marketplace experience is a plus.
· Some engineering and product management knowledge
· Experience making cold-calls, presentations, and direct sales
· Ability to direct and manage project development from beginning to end; as well
as, define project scope, goals and deliverables
· Strong communication skills in interacting with vendors and clients on the
phone as well as on site in providing valued technical and business proposals
· Travel required (approximately 75% of your time will be traveling)
· Compensation based on experience
