Job Description
An industry leader in the marine communications sector is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop business in the marine electronics markets.
This position is based from offices in Suffolk Essex or Aberdeen and will be reporting to the UK Service Manager.
The purpose of this role is to increase the levels of sales within the territory. Working with the local regional office the Sales Engineer will need to carry out meeting with existing customers develop new customer contacts and meet sales targets. Where necessary the Sales Engineer in cooperation with the Engineer- in-charge will be required to carry out chargeable service work although it is accepted that the priority will be sales. This post reports directly to the UK Service Manager.
Responsibilities:
1 Promote the companies products and services to new and existing customers.
2 Meet sales targets
3 Complete quotations as requested
4 Assist Bid teams and Sales Managers where necessary
5 Carry out Installation and service work to assist local Engineers-in-Charge
Required experience:
- Electronic Qualification to HNC standard or equivalent.
- Experience in the marine electronics industry is essential.
