On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Structural/Mechanical/Piping Estimator to join their dynamic Project Controls Team for a 6month fixed term contract. In addition, this could also be extended.

The successful individual will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing estimates for offshore and onshore brownfield projects in accordance with the applicable guidelines and procedures.
• Assisting the Lead or Senior Estimator in support of the estimating function
• Developing and maintain a cost conscious environment
• Providing estimating support and advice to Project Engineers, Implementation Co-ordinators and Management
• Being an active member in creating and maintaining a culture of HSE leadership that genuinely values no harm to the environment.

To be considered for this position you will have extensive construction experience in project estimating, preferably within an Oil & Gas or Engineering environment. You will have an intermediate level of computer literacy, in particular Excel and Word and demonstrate an understanding of database principals. A formal relevant qualification will be highly regarded, however a trade background is also acceptable.
