Our Client a Major International Petrochem & Oil & Gas Industry Contractor requires a Smartplant/P&ID Administrator to work in their West London Projects Offices
To provide Process Technical Support Perform configuration of SmartPlant P&ID system with the project provided seed files and databases. Manage and maintain SmartPlant P&ID system in accordance with the project specification throughout the duration of the assigned job duty. Work with Process Engineers CAD and Engineering computing support group to provide customization reporting and trouble shooting of the project databases.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree qualified in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
The primary focus will be technical support of SmartPlant P&ID from Intergraph for local and global process engineering projects.
To be part of a global engineering IT team supporting multiple local and global process engineering projects. The candidate will have to interface with various engineering teams and support SmartPlant P&ID and its related systems in accordance with company procedures and standards.
Key responsibilities will be to: Understand user requirements plan and prioritise work. Configure and deploy SmartPlant P&ID on projects. Provide user and project support. Assist with maintenance company standard SmartPlant P&ID seed.
Preferably although not essential with experience as a Smartplant/P&ID Administrator within the oil and gas industry environment.
Successful completion of the SmartPlant P&ID Administrator training courses provided by Intergraph.
Excellent understanding of setting up and supporting SmartPlant P&ID projects and associated systems.
Understanding of SmartPlant P&ID Customisation techniques using the Automation Layer would be beneficial & knowledge of other SmartPlant suite applications that interface with SmartPlant P&ID would be also advantageous as would AVEVA Bentley and AutoCAD.
