based in Calgary, the successful candidate will provide discipline support and co-ordination for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) component of an Oil Sands  Program across all Project Development Execution Process phases through to Ready For Start Up. Working from a corporate based SCM operating model, lead the development and assurance of SCM governance across all program elements excluding Upstream Facilities (i.e. Drilling & Completions, Infrastructure, Midstream, Operations and Sub-surface). When required Lead/ perform all SCM activities related to BU Elements. This includes, where appropriate, concluding strategic approach and negotiating agreements with 3rd party providers. Develop and maintain 'fit-for-purpose' Program specific governance process and systems to compliment and interface with existing Corporate and Element procedures, tools, templates etc..     QUALIFICATIONS - Engineering degree in related discpline or Finance; Post-graduate qualification in supply chain management would be an asset - Certified Professional Purchaser certification would be an asset - Minimum 15 years in oil and gas of which 10 years must be supply chain. Preference for cross-business experience e.g. supply chain and engineering, or supply chain and drilling - Direct responsibility for developing supply chain management execution plans for (i) drilling activities and (ii) engineering and construction of process facilities using EPC/ EPCM contract model - Developing, bidding, evaluating and concluding contracts for drilling activities and capital projects.   ONLY APPLICANTS ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN CANADA WILL BE CONSIDERED
