Our Client has a vacancy for a Rover Operator.  This is a contract position, based in Qatar.

As Rover Operator, your responsibilities will include the following:
Checks the levels of chemical needed for the assigned operating units, ensuring that chemical levels are maintained at correct level in each assigned unit.  Informs the Panel Operator if chemical levels require replenishment.
Checks the presence and proper condition of all safety and fire equipment in designated area such as checking of seals and pressure gauges, the condition of hoses and fire blankets, reporting any abnormal occurrences to the Panel Operator.
Assists in the preparation for maintenance of assigned equipment in accordance with "Daily Instructions" by performing a number of preparatory activities such as positive isolation, closing of valves, draining of pumps and sulfur from heater, granulator drum internals, vibrator screens, plugged chutes.

Minimum Requirements :
Substantial plant operating experience in the oil/gas industry including some experience in sulfur granulation, solid sulfur handling with conveyors, stacker/reclaimer, shiploader operation, utilities ideally air compressor, steam generation and water treatment.
Good working knowledge of English. 
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely on LNG Plant radio network.
