Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer Downstream Location : London Rate: Neg Duration: 12 Months Our client a major international operator is seeking highly skilled experienced and capable contract employees. The role: Member of a multifunctional project team responsible for managing all aspects of the Downstream EPC including monitoring and comnting Contractor and vendor documents alternative analysis detailed design and aspects of construction installation hookup commissioning and startup. Responsible for all rotating equipment aspects of process and utility systems including turbines compressors exchangers and pumps for the Downstream LNG plant facilities. These facilities include gas inlet receiving treatment LNG production and LNG storage utilities and load out facilities. Monitors contractors to ensure quality of rotating equipment designs. Works with Operations Team EPC Contractor and consultants to develop commissioning startup and operating procedures for rotating equipment. Assists in project execution. Seeks out and applies best practices from other projects. Captures and shares best practices and lessons learned from project planning and execution. Applies CPDEP and Capital Stewardship principles to ensure decision quality and superior project execution. Ensures adherence to project specifications and standards for rotating equipment. Ensures rotating equipment designs meet project technical safety environmental and regulatory requirements and that the equipment items meet project objectives of operability maintainability reliability and life cycle cost.
