Job Description
Our Client a Major Oil and Gas design and construction contractor is seeking Principal Rotating Equipment Engineers to be based in their office in Middlesex.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
Experienced Rotating equipment Engineer in one of more of the following areas:
• Compressors
• Pumps
• Gas Turbines
• Steam Turbines
• Turbo expanders
• Diesel engines
Preferred Skills:
• Ammonia
• LNG
• Petrochemicals experience
JOB SCOPE:
• Technical contribution to a project as a member of Equipment engineering team
• Preparation of engineering calculations and sketches specifications/datasheets/reports and work packs Enquiry and Purchase Order Packages.
• Bid evaluation and selection of suppliers
• Post award management of suppliers quality cost awareness and schedule including document review inspection at their works chairing progress meetings and liaison with design groups.
• Providing input to Equipment cost estimates man hours estimates and manpower forecasts as required by the project.
• Interfacing with other engineering disciplines and CAD drafting team as appropriate.
Duration: 6 months possible extension
Rate: circa £45.50 per hour ltd co rate
