Job Description
A major LNG operating company in the Middle East require a Rig Site HSE Supervisor to be based in Abu Dhabi.
The responsibilities and duties of the role include:
o Provide coaching and mentoring to the Drilling Supervisor to set appropriate objectives for HSE management emergency management and implementation. o Oversee and mentor Contractor HSE activities. o Set high level of proactive HSE Leadership for field personnel to follow.o Ensure the HSE competence of contractors through evaluation and audits. o Support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments for all site activities o Work with Drilling HSE Advisor to develop annual improvement plans for HSE management o Organize audit programs including coordination and recordkeeping of site audits with Contractor HSE supervisors. o Perform regular inspections to ensure HSE compliance. o Provide HSE support to Drilling Supervisor for Emergency Response.o Conduct Training and drills to maintain emergency preparedness.o Organize/Conduct training & coaching to promote HSE awareness and efficiency.o Analyse Monitor & Record HSE trends/statistics for future HSE planning and proactive measures. o Ensure all HSE related information is reported back to Drilling Support Team HSE Advisor.o Participate and Lead HSE Meetings as required by the Drilling supervisor.o Participate in incident investigations and develop and implement actions to mitigate recurrence o Perform all HSE duties in accordance with the companys codes of practice.o Assist with other activities as directed by the Drilling Supervisor
The successful candidate should possess the following skills attributes and experiences:
1. NEBOSH/IOSH Trained or Equivalent. 2. Minimum of 10 years experience working in Drilling Operations with exposure to operating in the Middle East.3. Minimum 5 years experience as HSE professional in a supervisory role.4. Computer literate familiar with Excel PowerPoint and other basic programs.5. Good Communication & People skills.6. Good standard of Coaching & Presentation skills.7. Full commitment to core value principles HSE leadership people values & ethics.
