Job Description
Our Client has a vacancy for a Revenue Accountant, based in Stavanger, Norway. This is a contract position.
Accountabilities will be as follows:
Sales and Receivables Accounting and Reporting
Stock Accounting and Reporting
Governance on execution of SoX control framework
Hosting Statutory and External/Internal SOx Audits
Interface management with Commercial, Tax, Production Services
Financial Accounting and Reporting in the operating units under responsibility
Candidates for this role must have the following experience:
Finance professional who has a variety of finance experiences including controlling & accounting and who is used to applying Group Finance Manuals.
Practical experience applying financial controls, governance and risk control framework.
Wide experience of end-to-end hydrocarbon allocation, over lift/under lift accounting.
Good communication skills able to be applied within the team and outside it.
Able to work with staff in non finance teams and influence them where necessary to ensure deadlines are met and process improvements achieved.
