Job Description
Our client a provider of strategic and engineering expertise to global energy business and other process industries is currently recruiting for a RAM Consultant, based in the EMEA region. You will deliver consulting services to global clients in various continuous processing industries in the subject areas of Reliability, Availability, and Maintenance (RAM). These services improve a clients profitability through improved Maintenance practices and programs, including the areas of plant turnarounds, routine maintenance, maintenance management, risk management, and reliability programs. You will work independently and as a member of a joint process/RAM team, integrating maintenance and process technologies to deliver profit improvement solutions through client training, written reports, and presentations to clients in formal and informal meetings. Consultants also assist in RAM sales visits and proposal preparation.
To be considered for this role you will need a Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical (or related) Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years varied continuous processing industry and management experience.

Specific expertise should include some of the following:
- Managerial and technical experience in Maintenance best practices.
- Operations and/or Maintenance Leadership and Management experience.
- Multi-plant or multi-company experience.
- Technical experience in Reliability Engineering and work screening tools.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Strategic Planning and core business performance areas, including HSE, Maintenance Reliability, Turnarounds, Cost Accounting, and Organisational development
- Computer modelling.
- In addition RAM consultants must be able to travel internationally for periods of 2-3 weeks, between 30-50% a year, delivering our modular program. Proven leadership, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills is a prerequisite. An advanced degree, a professional engineering certificate, and fluency in a second language are pluses.
