Our Client is a large international firm of Consultants who have been operating for more than 35 years providing professional consultancy services to clients in the engineering and construction industries. Specialising in the resolution of disputes on major projects, they have a renowned reputation for superior technical analysis of the problems encountered on large construction projects.

Providing support a civils project in Shetland.

The project is a remeasurable contract based on CESMM.

The QS will be required to carry out the following functions:

* Agree Interim valuations

* Agree progress measurements

* Agree cost of variations

* Commercial and contractual negotiations

* Defend company against potential claims

* Final measure and final account

The working hours, site terms and conditions are still being put together but at the moment it is expected to be 12hour days, 3 weeks on and 3 off.
