Our Client has a vacancy for a Quality Inspector, Electrical and Instruments based in Baku.  This is a contract position.  The employment terms for this position will be in accordance with the Azerbaijan Labour Code.

As Quality Inspector, Electrical and Instruments, your responsibilities will include the following: 
Instrument and or electrical background, oil & gas inspection experience and familiarity with General Codes and standards.
Supervisory experience preferable and the ability to work on own initiative essential.
Able to coordinate vendor inspections and manage vendor -based non conformities up to satisfactory close-out.
Prepare Quality Plan/Inspection & Test Plans in line with project specifications and national standards.
Familiar with testing procedures and able to review testing procedures from suppliers.
Good understanding of material certification requirements and specifications for instrument and electrical disciplines.
Able to understand review and approve instrument and electrical requisitions.
Review quality plans, inspection and test plans, and test procedures.
Review and establish Quality requirements for their applicability to suppliers.
Good communication and formal reporting skills in English and able to actively contribute at project meetings.
Work as a team player with proactive approach and attention to detail.
Competent with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Good understanding of quality management systems typically applied to engineering offices and fabrication works.
Understands certification requirements and has experience reviewing and reviewing certification packs, vendor certification and manufacturing record books.
Understands Instrument and electrical certification requirements i.e ATEX.
Understands ISO9001:2000 Quality Management system requirements.
