Our Client has a vacancy for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator.  This is a contract position, based in Singapore.

As Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Engineering & Procurement Phase:
Ensures that the EPCI Contractor's Program for QA and QC has been fully developed and is being implemented by regular auditing.
Ensures that all matters relating to quality requirements and processes are strictly adhered to in accordance with the Contract, Specifications, National and International Codes and Standards, Regulations, etc.
Establishes the Engineering and Procurement Documentation Turnover requirements.
Schedules and executes Internal Audits of Project Procedures and Contractor's and Sub-Contractors' facilities.
At the request of the Project Manager participates in presentation to Company's and Stakeholder Management.
Where Non Conformity/Corrective Actions have not been resolved, ensures that these NCRs/CARs are brought to the attention of the Project Manager.
Provides support to Project Management by investigating and identifying inhibitors of maximum achievement and by working with the intended participants to secure agreement on both the recognition of the problem itself and the action necessary to obtain improvement.
Alerts Project Management about potential problems, undesirable trends and foreseen risks.
With the cooperation of Project Manager and Project Engineer establishes the Critical Elements to be Verified and/or Certified.
Construction, Commissioning & Start-up Phase:
Ensures that EPC Contractor Site QA Management System is in place and is being implemented.
Revises and establishes as appropriate Project's Construction procedures.
Directs and manages the Project's Construction QA and QC Activities.
Establishes the Project's Construction activities Audit program.
Works with other PMT personnel to establishes the Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up Documentation turnover requirements.
Audits the EPC Contractor, Sub-Contractors and Sub-EPC's( as applicable) QA programs and procedures.
Supports Construction and Operation in the Punch-list close out reports.
Audits Vendor's Data Packages.
Writes, issues and controls the QA procedures for the project.
Controls & monitors the review and approval process of Quality Assurance procedures.

Qualifications:
Substantial major project experience, with international Upstream experience preferred.
Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence.
Working knowledge of all relevant engineering & construction codes and standards.
Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment.
Demonstrated interpersonal/teambuilding skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Quality control/quality assurance experience on major oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects preferred.

The salary for this role is Â425 - Â475 per day.
