Job Description
Join Fircroft in this contract position for 1 year (with potential option to renew on an annual basis) to provide services in connection with the development of the Hebron Project.
**Open to citizens and permanent residents of Canada with preference to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador**

Start Date: 1 Nov 2010
Location: Houston (1.5 years), International (Korea 2 years), St Johns NL (1 year)
Main Responsibilities:
* Advise/inform Topsides Project Manager on Quality Management issues, status and metrics.
* Resides in Topsides EPC contractors office monitoring and assisting in all Quality, Procurement and Regulatory issues.
* Report to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) while ensuring establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the subproject Project Team (PT), as per Project Plan/Project Quality Plan.
* Monitor and audit implementation of Project Team Construction, Procurement and Engineering, Surveillance Programs and Contractors plans and procedures.
Tasks:
* Advises and informs Topsides Project Manager and PQM on Quality issues, status and metrics.
* Ensures establishment and proper implementation of adequate control processes within the subproject Project Team, as stipulated in the Project Plan and the Project Quality Plan.
* Develops and coordinates Subproject Audit Schedule, conduct site audits within sub-projects and assist PQM in conduct of project audits, as needed.
* Monitor, investigate, identify and raises subproject quality issues to the Project Team.
* Develop Subproject Quality Plan, when required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor or Associate degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
* Min. 20 yrs in coordination of quality activities in QA/QC for Offshore Production Topsides/Drilling facilities engineering, construction, mechanical completions, commissioning and startup.
* Min. 20 years in management of project quality systems
