Job Description
QHSE Technical Assistant -
Main Duties:
To support the QHSE function to ensure that Design and Engineering works deliver a quality product which achieves the requirements of the client and complies with national codes and standards.
To assist HSE Advisor in maintaining the Incident Reporting Systems and action tracking registers within the contract. To assist in the facilitation and deliver of Office HSE Requirements, acting as the HSE Office Focal Point. To compile monthly HSE Report inline with contract and corporate requirements.
Assist the Quality Manager to ensure the implementation, operation, reporting, promotion and maintenance of the Contract Management System.
Help to maintain / continually improve the Contract Management System for the project which shall comply with and be certified to ISO9001:2008.
Engineering policy & the contract requirements of client
Track CMS documentation reviews and update relevant systems / registers as necessary (ishare, project wise, excel).
Carry out data analysis on the performance of the CMS for monthly reports.
Maintain the QHSE Audit Schedule and provide periodic progress reports.
Liaise with all functions to drive closure of actions generated through the CMS.
Involvement in the internal audit program.
Chair the IVB meetings, maintain the associated registers and track / close out actions.
Carry out other general duties as delegated by the HSE Advisor / Quality Manager.
Education & Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 standard grade.
HNC in relevant subject.
Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Internal auditing experience.
Project Specific:
Understanding of ishare, Projectwise.
Experience:
relevant experience (Preferably in the Oil / Gas / Petrochemical industry).
Knowledge of ISO9001:2000 / QMS within a modern quality organisation
