The role will require the successful candidate to develop, manage and maintain the company's QHSE systems, policies and provide functional support to all Projects QHSE personnel employed in the company including personnel at various sites, bases and installations.

They are offering a good remuneration package for the successful candidate. They are open to negotiate for the right individual the salary package on offer however their remuneration is very competitive within the market and will be discussed further at point of interest.

Responsibilities will include are to:
ÃÂ
*Develop QHSE policy and strategy for the company to ensure compliance, and evolve a safety culture that is consistently practised throughout the company
*Prepare and formulate QHSE standards, policies and guidelines for people, material and facilities at the company and ensure full implementation in all locations.
*Carry out QHSE evaluations of projects, identify problem areas and ensure all matters are discussed with project engineers and clarified in order to avoid delays.
*Ensure QHSE is implemented in accordance to ISO 9001 and report formally on Quality System performance.
*Develop and manage an audit plan for QHSE processes and operational activities to ensure continuous improvement.
*Ensure all non-conformance's, defects & deficiencies relating to QHSE matters are promptly reported and recorded and take corrective action to prevent recurrence.
*Serve as a point of contact for advice both internally and externally on the quality system and ensure company QHSE policy and procedures are fully implemented in accordance with client requirements.
*Secure various local and international quality certifications and accreditation's as required, and revise and update policies to ensure continual accreditation by quality standard boards.
*Ensure QHSE objectives are disseminated to all employees and contractors and ensure required follow-up with the concerned parties is carried out.
*Participate in selection and training of QHSE personnel and issue a QHSE training plan is implemented and maintained within agreed budget.
*Mentor and coach QHSE team members and lead the team to deliver departmental objectives
