We are currently recruiting for one of the largest iron ore mining operations in the world for a Purchaser

The position of Purchaser plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining procurement warehousing and logistic services to the iron ore mining site in West Africa ensuring that all associated functions are carried out in accordance with the companys policies and procedures

Will supervise the two buyers presently in position for Operations Port and Rail

Exposure to both purchasing and warehouse operations.

Exposure to Pronto system

Must have experience of working with Pronto management systems.

Experienced purchaser and one who has contract negotiation and tendering skills. In the future for example we will undertake this for the supply of fuel and other strategic items.

Must also have been involved in Greenfield operations at the pre-construction phase of large scale operations preferably on mining projects. Start ups

Experience in working in remote areas West Africa etc.
