Job Description
An excellent opportunity for a Proposal Engineer to join a leading service provider to the energy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the preparation of commercial tenders and ensuring that all tender submissions meet with company and client expectations.
Responsibilities will include:
Coordination of tender submissions for offshore oil/gas energy projects that will include managing the proposal schedule and ensuring deadlines are met.
Review and understand all documentation enquires.
Manage the preparation of the commercial and technical sections of the tender submission.
Review contracts and commercial terms and conditions of potential clients in line with company policies.
Prepare costing prognosis and business risk assessments.
Liaise with the contracts manager to ensure a full understanding of key contractual issues.
Person Specific:
Educated to degree level or equivalent. Ideally with a B.SC in Engineering - Business Studies or a Qualification in contract law - tendering.
Previous experience within a similar role in the Oil/Gas or Marine industry.
Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to inspire co-workers.
