Job Description
Our client is a key organisation in the OG service sector. They would like to employ a proposals engineer/estimator to facilitate there proposals team.
Duties to include:
- Preparation of submission for proposals
- Liaison with other divisions on pre-qualifications tenders and commercial proposals
- Ensuring that proposals to the highest standard are submitted on the specified timeframe.
- To prepare a tender plan identifying deliverables and allocation of tasks with defined deadlines
- To participate in the analysis of the risks associated with the tender.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and commercial requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and third parties to ensure that quality tender proposals are submitted.
- Assisting in the costing of proposals and compilation of cost models for all works being tendered.
- Assist in the preparation of all management information for review and agreement.
- Attend site visits and clarification meetings as required.
- Contribute to the improvement of company commercial and bidding practices.
Skills
To be suitable you should have a proven track record in the Oil & Gas sector within a bid or tender environment. Sector specific experience not necessary if within the Oil & Gas area of industry.
You should be of intermediate experience having managed and submitted bids with minimal support from Senior Management.
Ideally the client would like to recruit the success candidate on a fixed term contract basis although candidates who are willing g to work on an hourly/day rate basis would be considered.
