Job Description
Our client, a leading EPC contractor for the offshore Oil & Gas industry, is currently looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish bidder's list for the projects
- Ensure that Purchase Orders (POs) are awarded on the most cost effective and commercial advantage for the Project;
- Ensure that the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used for procurement activities is updated with current PO data and to maintain the procurement Milestone Plan (PMP);
- Establish and maintain liaison with the Project Manager and the other members of the project team and suppliers, with the goal to prepare and issue RFQs and POs in a timely manner according to the PMP and Project schedule needs
- Perform all steps in the successful placement of POs including sourcing, preparation of request for quotation documents, clarifications, commercial evaluation, negotiations, recommendations, development and execution of PO documents;
- Evaluate the commercial and contractual aspects of VOR (Variation Order Request) and NCRs (Non Conformance Requests) from suppliers and implement actions as may be required;
- Closeout of Purchase Orders, prepare close out and experience reports;
- Familiar with the Management System structure and content, and have specific knowledge regarding requirements, responsibilities, processes (working methods) and other Management System information applicable to the position.

Looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Bachelors/Master in Engineering or similar qualification.
- At least 10 years experience with contracts and procurement within projects in the offshore industry.
- Good understanding and knowledge of the technical, contractual and commercial issues related to design, engineering,fabrication and installation of FPSOs.
- High business-ethical standards.
- Managerial skills - Interpersonal and communication skills.
