Job Description
This leading European Renewable Energy company whose specialism include Turbine Manufacturing and Site Delivery require a Project Manager to work in Glasgow. As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing wind farm projects in the most exciting and challenging environments.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Understanding relevant regulations including identification and implementation of the optimum consenting strategy and leading consultations.
Overall management of the outline design, liaison with all relevant Supply Chain Personnel.
Management and motivation of project team, including external agencies.
Take the lead on all consent applications and associated stakeholder management.
Provide technical and commercial support and advice to owners and developers throughout the project life circle.
Evaluation of site performance testing, guarantees, liquidated damages, wind measurement and resource management.
Management of wind farm layout and constraints.
Responsible for proposal preparation follow-up.
Responsible for managing workflows.
Responsible for EIA activities.
Compliance with and understanding of health & safety legislation.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following
Proven technical abilities in the wind energy sector.
Substantial experience in project management and development.
Proven abilities to take the technical lead and deliver to stakeholder satisfaction.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent in successful budget management.
Working knowledge of industry software.
Excellent report written skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Time management skills.
Degree level education or equivalent.
