Job Description
Our Client a leading Subsea & Construction Contractor in the oil & gas industry has a current requirement for a Project Manager

Has full profit and loss safety and quality reponsibility for the project.
Defines selects organises and builds the project team as appropriate encouraging team to achieve project success by reducing cost and maximising profit without compromise to quality or safety.
Demonstrates safety leadership and ensures that all HSE concerns are closed out prior to work starting. Ensures lessons learned from previous projects are incorporated in planning.
Ensures all project incidents are fully reported investigated and corrective actions implemented. Communicates lessons learned to other projects.
Is familiar with technical workscope and the project schedule.
Monitors and progresses all onshore / offshore operations via regular communication with and providing direction / advice to site managers.
Liaises with Operations Manager Engineering and other managers to ensure effective interfacing between projects / departments.
Cooperates with other projects and departments to ensure overall efficinecy of the company resources inclusding vessels equipement and personnel
Develops a work breakdown structure and network for all project costs and controls all project expenditure delegating as appropriate.
Ensures deliverables are produced across departments in accordance with BMS and on time.
Oversees all aspects of any subcontracting required through adherence to company tendering process and negotiates with suppliers to obtain most cost / risk effective service.
Responsible for ensuring the correct equipment and materials are readied for the project and that it complies with company and statutory requirements.
Sets and communicates the performance standards required to achieve project success. Ensures team members are commercially / contractually aware and understand their HSE responsibilites.
Identifies prepares and pursues payment for contract variations.
Provides feedback on perfomance of team and assits in development training and coachiing of project members.
Liases reguarly with the client to progress theproject and to ensure a professional and effective working relationship
Responsible for timely and complete project close out.


Qualifications and Education
Candidates should be degree qualified in an engineering/technical and/or commercial discipline with demonstrable documented relevant work experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent
