The successful candidate may have to travel to Europe US or Africa on offshore or onshore projects for periods of 2 to 6 weeks in yards or on vessels in West Africa.

Issue technical documents for projects tenders or internal developments.Review technical documentation from suppliers and sub-contractors.
Supervise graduate engineers.
Check documents produced by other engineers.
Planning and evaluating the durations for completion of tasks.
To use the validated computer tools and suggest new acquisitions
Ensure compliance with the latest HSEQ DCE suite of documents and procedures
Attend project audits project engineering reviews and discipline meeting

Prepare and check preliminary studies for design and/or installation
Prepare and check preliminary technical and operating
Prepare and check preliminary system description and MTO Prepare Estimation of Engineering man hours and time estimates for Operations
Propose clarifications and qualifications

Prepare and deliver calculation notes for design and installation
Prepare and deliver installation procedures including material and equipment list planning etc
Follow-up execution of project drawings
Prepare and deliver requisitions and/or specifications
Provide technical assistance to SCM
Assist offshore operations FAT and SIT as required

Applicants must have an engineering degree and 5 years experience in flexible umbilical or flying lead installation engineering with at least one offshore experience.
