Project Delivery Manager Networks
Salary - 55k to 65k Benefits

Head Resourcing is currently working with one of the largest Energy Engineering Companies in the world. With an enviable reputation and a strong presence in over 20 countries this company is now focused on developing their profile in the UK. They currently require a Project Delivery Manager to join their Networks division in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to get involved right from the beginning leading to quick career progression and to make a name for yourself in the fast-growing and exciting power sector.
You will be deputy to the Networks Contract Manager the Project Delivery Manager has direct responsibility for risk mitigation and delivery of a work package contract model on all networks projects 132kV and above. With principle contractor responsibility across a wide spectrum of contracts the successful candidate will be experienced in establishing high performing teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects with many interfaces and integration points coordinating specific engineering outputs within construction plans to deliver fit for purpose solutions safely to time quality and investment criteria
The post-holder will be required to form project teams from 80 professionals with wide ranging and diverse skills to manage pre construction planning contract and work package integration construction execution across multiple work sites over a wide geographical area change requests from client and site commercial contract resolution as well as technical commercial and quality processes that allow close down and handover of completed projects to client.
You will be directly responsible for all construction activities associated with the delivery of major networks infrastructure projects at 132kV and above.
Skills Knowledge & Experience:
Ideally the successful candidate will be a Chartered Engineer or in the process of seeking Chartered status or an exceptional candidate with equivalent experience over a number of years within the industry.
Candidates are likely to have a proven track record in construction and/or commercial line management experience having managed large numbers of diverse staff.
People leadership to form and motivate teams from diverse discipline areas to construct infrastructure projects successfully
Meeting/exceeding customer expectations on construction projects.
Give direction in application of all safety procedures in combination with H&S legislation requirements.
Project delivery within time budget quality and safety parameters.
Infrastructure and service contracts and contractor management.
Project management Institute methodology and other industry leading tools.
Commercial and financial controls.
Proven people management and leadership skills.
Well honed commercial and negotiation skills
Education:
Ideally have a Post Graduate qualification MSc MBA or be degree qualified. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
