Our Client a major international oil and gas contractors is seeking a Project Services Manager for their project based in Russia.


QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have recent experience as a project controls/services manager within the oil and gas industry.
• Must have recent experience of the job scope below.


JOB SCOPE:

Objective:
• To provide a comprehensive project controls function for the project including project planning progress measurement and reporting budgeting and cost control resource planning and document control.
• To provide contract and subcontract administration function for the project.

Duties:
• Ensure the preparation of suitable procedures covering all sub-disciplines
• Develop Management of Change Process
• Coordinate and manage the whole project services team including doc control project controls cost control and planning contract and subcontract administration
• Prepare and maintain project strategies plans and procedures for the project services area
• Ensure the development of resource and planning schedules for the project at key project stages and the monitoring of sub/contractors schedules against the project schedule
• Ensure preparation of regular and timely progress reports rolling up Subcontractors cost reports and schedules into an overall integrated cost report and overall project schedule detailing
• progress against plans and budgets for circulation to Project Manager and Project Director
• Review cash flow projections and cost analyses prepared by his team
• Maintain surveillance of currency exchange rates and notify their impact on project invoicing
• Monitor progress measurement of project activities
• Approve timesheets ensuring correct allocation
• Agree project arrangements for managing AFEs with Contracts Manager and Project Controls
• Lead and implement accordingly
• Ensure the provision of suitable project controls tools to optimize compatibility with both internal
• and external systems

Duration: 18 months 6 months in Moscow and 12 months in Sakhalin

Rotation: Trips back every 4 weeks from Moscow.
For Sakhalin the rotation is 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

Rate: Negotiable - please quote the net day rate you are looking for in US dollars.
